My nieces 1st birthday is fast approaching so I decided to use some scraps and make some baby balls. The bright red and orange fabric is "Mirabelle" by Alexander Henry and the others are just scraps sourced from a local fabric store. I also added little jingle bells which make a soft tinkle when they are rolled or tossed. My plan is to make some smaller coordinating balls to accompany this gift. ( I didn't like the handsewn seam showing so I dealt with this problem by sewing one of my labels over top)
