I have been so busy lately and the summer has just flown by...I have also been sewing up a storm this summer. Above is a cute door stop I made from a dollar store placemat and some red canvas I had in my stash. I was tired of putting books in front of our door to prevent the wind from slamming it shut!

Here is a little skirt with grosgrain ribbon on the bottom...I love making these...so quick and satisfying.

A little pincushion from a piece of patchwork I was practicing on ( the colors are a bit washed out in this picture) the tones are blue and green..

Cute patchwork crayon wallet made from some scraps of Japanese fabric...

I have also loved making these linen book covers. I made one for myself and use it all the time. Well pretty soon it will be time to start on some Christmas projects! Hope you all had a great summer!
